Artist's Comments

I am sorry - i have been a bad deviant. If you want regular updates it's best to check my flickr.

I bought a couple of ND8 filters and also used a polariser filter, to try and do long exposures in daylight (without annoying Pam with infrared :P)

you can see the wisps of moving people and a couple who helpfully stood still.

Quite an interesting photo to say the least. We don't see day time long exposures often so it makes a nice change. I think you've done pretty well too.

I really love the vibrancy of the yellow. Are they phone boxes? Love the reflection in the close one too. It makes it quite interesting.

There is a lot going on, so people definitely won't get bored looking at this. Great shot :D

Your yellow phone boxes confused me
I really like the idea of daytime long exposures, even if it does take three filters, nice shot.

smile and the world smiles with you.

Long exposure without tripod? Excellent result! :D

ah there is a wee tripod hidden in there somewhere :) thanks! :D :D
thanks very much Nyssa :)

there were fake phone boxes, with fake doors on every side. they were only there temporarily as some kind of advert. there is a real blue Dr Who-y police box in the background, although it has now been converted to sell "copaccinos".
thanks :) they weren't real phone boxes; they were some kind of advert :)
haha copaccinos

I presume the reflection on the phone-booth window is yours...

oh yes! but there is a minitripod on top of a bin, which is partly obscured :)
